Hello friends! Today I’m back with a birthday card highlighting some beautiful winter stamps from Purple Onion Designs. This project features Snowy, a cute winter owlet, and some amazing decorations from the Door Decor set. As you can see, these rubber stamps are so versatile: all the fabulous decors can be used even without a door to decorate ;)
I started from the background and I randomly stamped the images from Door Decor on my kraft card base using Versamark ink. I really like using small stamps to create backgrounds for my projects. I think it’s a great way to create unique backgrounds, don’t you think?
Then, I die-cut a square frame out of kraft cardstock using Die-namics Single Stitch Line Square Frames by My Favorite Things and used it to embrace the central sentiment.
I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics adding some details on the flowers with my Colorless Blender.
I fussy cut all the poinsettias (I know… it was a bit time-consuming… but I had a lot of fun :D ) and mounted them on my frame as embellishment.
To create the sentiment, I die-cut the word “Happy” from green cardstock using the Double-Cut Alphabet Die by Concord & 9th and added some dots on each letter using my white Uniball Signo Gel Pen. Then, I heat embossed the second half of the sentiment on black cardstock using white embossing powder.
Finally, I added a bunch of sparkling clear sequins and a small clear droplet from Pretty Pink Posh as embellishment.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Happy crafting!
