Hi there!
Today I’m sharing a card for the newest MFT Birthday Project Challenge!
This month we’re challenging you to create birthday cards with flowers of all kinds:

Here at MFT, we have a deep affinity for flowers of all kinds… whimsical doodles, elegantly realistic renderings, and dimensional blooms that add texture and depth. We’re celebrating a garden of birthday blooms in this month’s challenge with a full bouquet of cards featuring flowers“.

MFT The Birthday Project

My project features the gorgeous Floral Focus stamp set and the amazing Foiled Birthday Wishes Die-namics. This large-scale floral image is one of my favorites and it’s just perfect to fill your card front with a beautiful floral background.

I started to work on my card by die-cutting a stitched rectangle out of Tickled Pink card stock, using one of the dies from the Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics.

Next, I stamped the floral pattern on my pink card stock panel using Tickled Pink dye ink, in order to achieve a two tone effect and added some shadows on the stamped images using Copics.
Then, I used my hot foil machine and the Foiled Birthday Wishes Die-namics to foil the impressive script greeting on the previously stamped card stock panel.

Finally, I mounted the stitched panel on a card front, using foam tape for dimension, and added a purple drop shadow to it.
