Hi there!
It’s time for a new sketch challenge on the MFT Blog and today I’m sharing a card inspired by this week’s sketch, featuring the adorable BB Sunflower Sweetheart stamp set and coordinating Die-namics.
To begin, I stamped all the images using Milk Chocolate Hybrid ink and colored them with Copic markers before die-cutting them using the coordinating dies.
Next, I cut a square panel out of white card stock and ink blended a soft shade of green and blue ink over it, in order to create the ground layer and the sky. I stamped the sentiment, from the BB Sunflower Sweetheart stamp set, directly on it using Milk Chocolate Hybrid ink
Then, I mounted the panel on a card base and added a diagonal patterned paper strip behind it, following the sketch.
Finally, I mounted all the cute images on my card front, popping some of them up using foam tape to create dimension. Isn’t it cute?
It’s your turn now!
I hope you’ll play along with us! :)
