Today I’m back with another card highlighting the newest Purple Onion Designs collection: Spread Kindness.
This gorgeous release combines two different stamp styles which are so versatile and work great when mixed together.
In my opinion, it’s the perfect mix: you can find lots of adorable critters, larger sized traditional images and florals. And they’re all so gorgeous!! :)
Furthermore, you can easily combine them with prior collections too, for endless creative possibilities! Such fun!
This card features one of the new larger size traditional images in all of its beauty. :)
I started to work on this project by stamping the Tiny Dwelling with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored it with my Copic markers. Once my coloring was done, I carefully fussy cut it.
Next, I die-cut a scalloped frame out of white cardstock using the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frames by My Favorite Things and ink blended a white panel with Cracked Pistachio Distress ink – to be used as a background – adding some water drops and color splats on it for a stained look.
Then, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Essential Thoughts Sentiment Set in white on a scrap of yellow cardstock and created a darling layered scene within the die-cut frame using foam tape for dimension.
Finally, I stamped some flowers (from the Tiny Dwelling image) with gray ink on my card base before mounting the frame on it and added some sparkling clear stars sequins as embellishment.
