I have a fun interactive card to share with you today, featuring the lovely BB Friends with Fins stamp set and Die-namics along with the amazing Pop-Up Wiper Card Components Die-namics.
This new interactive die is just perfect to add a little pop to your cards. All you need is a scored die-cut mechanism and two folded panels. Making exciting pop-up cards has never been this easy, right? :D
To start, I customize the panel of my wiper card die-cutting two wave edges from two card stock panels using one of the edge included in the Pop-Up Wiper Card Components Die-namics. I also die-cut the waves out of a vellum panel and added it in between.
Then, I die-cut the mechanism out of acetate to make it almost invisible when the card is opened.
I stamped the beautiful sea creatures from the BB Friends with Fins stamp set, colored them with Copic markers and die-cut them using the coordinating dies.
I put together all the wiper card elements and carefully added the hidden image on the mechanism to be perfectly aligned when the card is opened.
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of Pineapple card stock and mounted it on my front panel, too.
