Today’s project shows off one of my favorite stamp from ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas collection.
This cute little critter, holding a big envelope full of holiday cheer, makes my heart melt everytime I look at him.
To start this project, I stamped Nora and Butter (mailbox) with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic markers. While coloring, I added some details, like the stripes on the critter’s hat and the envelope dots, just to introduce some pleasant accents.
For the background scene, I stamped Home Sweet Home (horizon) and colored it with Copics.
Then, I die cut three snowy hills off white cardstock using Landscape Trio – Creative Cuts by Mama Elephat and added them to my scene, in front of the stamped image, to create a winter landscape.
I ink blended Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean and Cracked Pistachio Distress Inks on a white cardstock panel, creating the perfect winter sky for my scene.
Then, I decided to frame my composition die cutting a scalloped rectangle (which reminds me the edges of a postal stamps). I used a die from Peek a Frame Creative Cuts by Mama Elephant.
To finish, I heat embossed the sentiment in gold on a snowy hill and added some golden stars as embellishment, to enrich my blended sky.
Thanks for stopping by!
