Hello friends! Happy Spring!
Today I have a cheerful card for you, highlighting the Happy Trails Collection by Purple Onion Designs. I really love this collection, all its images are so adorable and fun to color!
I started working on this project by creating the rainbow frame: I glued several scraps of solid cardstock side by side, making my own patterned paper, and die-cut a frame out of it using the Lacy Layers Die by Waffle Flowers.

Next, I stamped the cute hedgehog with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored it with Copics, adding a bit of texture to the elements with my colorless blender. Once the coloring was done, I carefully fussy cut the image.
I used the Street rubber stamp for the background, stamping it on a regular card base using Altenew Evening Gray dye ink. Then, I mounted the rainbow frame and the cute hedgehog onto my card base using some foam tape to create dimension. This happy Cruiser riding his vintage Vespa is so cool, isn’t he? :)

Finally, I die-cut the sentiment out of kraft cardstock using the Hello Script by Mama Elephant and added some white dots on it using a gel pen, before mounting it on my card. I heat embossed the second part of the sentiment in white on a strip of black cardstock.
I also added some sparkling clear sequins to embellish my project.
Thanks for joining me today!
Happy crafting!
