Hello friends! Today I’ve got an Easter card to share featuring some cute critters from Purple Onion Designs. I really enjoyed creating this happy spring scene, POD stamps are always so fun to color! :)
I started working on this project by stamping all my images with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with Copic markers. Once my coloring was done, I carefully fussy cut Zoey, Spruce – the lovely snail from the Garden Bugs set – and a couple of Easter eggs. Then, I cut off Zoey’s book from her cute paws replacing it with a colorful egg :)
Next, I die-cut two Polaroid frames out of white cardstock, using the Polaroid Fun Creative Cuts by Mama Elephant. I trimmed down The Perfect Spot background in two parts (to fit my Polaroid frames) and mounted them on both backgrounds using foam tape for dimension.
I stamped some ink splatters from the Distressed Patterns by My Favorite Things on a card base. I used Wild Honey Distress Oxide for both first and second generation stamped splatters.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment on the main frame and mounted the Polaroids on my card base.
I also added a bunch of sparkling clear sequins as embellishment and a bit of shimmer to the Easter eggs using my Wink of Stella clear Brush marker.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you enjoy this project!
