Hi there!
We’ve reached the final day of the countdown, the MFT November Release Countdown wraps up today! :) All of the amazing new products will be available tomorrow – Tuesday, November 10 at 10:00 am EST.
I have a shadow box card to share with you today, featuring the So Very Fawned of You stamp set and coordinating Die-namics.
I started by creating the shadow box structure using Blue Yonder Prestige card stock and used the arched background from the Outside the Box Level Up Die-namics to die-cut the inner window.
This shadow box card folds flat, but pops up immediately when opened, revealing all its layers a dimension. Such fun!
Next, I die-cut all the elements I needed to build the scene. I die-cut a bunch of birch trees out of Primitive Cream, Natural and Kraft card stock – using the Birch Trees Die-namics – and some snow drifts using the stitched edges from the Slimline Snow Drifts Die-namics.
For the background, I ink blended some blue and yellow ink on a white card stock panel, creating a smooth pastel gradient.
Then, I stamped the adorable deer from the So Very Fawned of You stamp set and some greenery and floral accents from the Winter Songbird stamp set. I colored them with Copics and die-cut them using the matching dies.
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a strip of Pineapple card stock and assembled all the die cut elements and all the images, creating a beautiful dimensional scene.
Check out the MFT Blog to see all the gorgeous new products revealed today. See you again tomorrow for my Release Day project!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Happy crafting!
