Hi there!
Today I’m sharing a card for the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge 494 featuring the amazing Happy Hummingbirds stamp set and coordinating Die-namics.
To begin, I ink blended a soft layer of pink and yellow ink over the Oval Extraordinaire Stencil, to create the background oval shape. Next, I used the negative part of the stencil to mask the ink blended shape and stamped a flower pattern on both sides, following the sketch.
I stamped the beautiful hummingbirds, from the Happy Hummingbirds stamp set, with Milk Chocolate Hybrid ink and die-cut them using the matching dies, before coloring them with Copic Markers.
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment – from the same stamp set – in white on a strip of Berrylicious card stock and mounted it on my card front along with all the other stamped images, I used foam tape to pop some of them up to add dimension.
