Hi! It’s time for a new sketch challenge on the MFT Blog and today I’m sharing a card inspired by this week’s sketch featuring the lovely BB Birthday Chicks stamp set! So much fun!

I started to work on this card by die-cutting the rounded shape tag from the Tag Builder Blueprints 7 Die-namics out of purple patterned paper. Then, I die-cut the banner element, included in the same set, out of Primitive White card stock and creased it to fit the tag.
I stamped the sentiment directly on the banner using Purple Rain premium dye ink and added a vellum layer on the tag to soften the patterned paper a bit.

I stamped a couple of funny chicks from the BB Birthday Chicks stamp set along with other party elements and colored them with Copic Markers.
Finally, I carefully fussy cut all the elements and mounted them on my card base.

It’s your turn now! I hope you’ll play along with us! :)
Stop by the MFT Blog for all the details about the sketch challenge and more inspiration from the DT members. You can share your projects there for a chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher.

Happy crafting!
