Hi there!
Today I’m back to share a card I made for the newest MFT Birthday Project Challenge!
This time we’re challenging you to create birthday cards with heart:
“Hearts are a universal symbol of love. While February is typically thought of as a month to celebrate a Valentine’s Day type of love, birthday cards can also be thought of as an expression of our love for the birthday boy or girl. Hearts abound this month as our team has been busy crafting birthday cards featuring hearts.“
My project features the amazing Impressive String of Hearts Die-namics along with the adorable BB Birthday Chicks stamp set.
To begin, I used my hot foil machine and the Impressive String of Hearts Die-namics to foil the beautiful heart pattern in gold on a white card stock panel.
Next, I die-cut the bold letters of the sentiment once out of the foiled patterned paper and once out of colored card stock, in this way I created a colored drop shadow for each letter.
I stamped the adorable characters from the BB Birthday Chicks stamp set and colored them with Copic markers before mounting them on my card front, using foam tape for dimension.
Are you ready to play along with us?
