The amazing MFT Merry & Bright Card Kit is finally here!! YAY!!
My project for today’s Card Kit Launch celebration features the amazing Christmas Lights Die-namics and the Let’s Get Lit stamp set.
To begin, I die-cut the light bulbs out of white card stock using the Christmas Lights Die-namics and ink blended them in different colors. I used Tickled Pink, Red Hot, Green Room and Summer Splash Premium Dye ink. Then, I die-cut the strings and the light bases out of Grout Gray card stock.
I heat embossed the sentiment – from the Let’s Get Lit stamp set – in gold on a Heavyweight Translucent Vellum panel – previously die-cut using the Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics – and adhered it on a piece of patterned paper – from the Very Merry Paper Pad.
Finally, I mounted the sentiment panel in the middle of a white card base and added all the Christmas lights around it, using foam tape to pop some of them up to create dimension.
