MFT & Friends September 2019

Hello and welcome to the MFT September Release New Product Launch! :)
All of the amazing new products we’ve been showing off over the past few days are NOW available for purchase in the MFT Boutique. It’s time to shop!

Today I have a cute shadow box card to share with you, highlighting the amazing BB Sweater Weather in the Woods stamp set and coordinating Die-namics. I really love this set, it has quickly become one of my all time Birdie Brown’s favorites!

To begin, I stamped all the images using Chocolate Milk Hybrid ink and colored them with Copic markers. Then, I die-cut all the cute critters using the coordinating dies.

Next, I die-cut all the elements I needed to create my woodland scene. I used the Grassy Hills Die-namics to create the ground layers and the Birch Trees Die-namics to die-cut a bunch of trees out of Primitive Cream card stock. Then, I die-cut some clouds out of Translucent Vellum, using the Puffy Clouds Die-namics.

I created the shadow box card base using Coral Crush card stock and stamped the beautiful Knitted Sweater Background on it with clear pigment ink to achieve a two tone effect. Then, I die-cut the inner window using one of the Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics.

I mounted all the elements inside the die-cut window, creating a funny autumn scene, and kept the outside’s design very simple, since the inside is quite crowded :)

Finally, I stamped the sentiments (from the BB Sweater Weather in the Woods and BB Sweater Weather on Safari) with Coral Crush dye ink on two Primitive Cream card stock stitched rectangles and added them on my shadow box card.
