My card for today’s New Product Launch celebration features the gorgeous Big Birthday Wishes Die-namics. This big, bold sentiment is absolutely stunning.
To begin, I die-cut the Big Birthday Wishes Die-namics out of a white card stock panel slightly smaller than a regular sized card base.
Next, I created the rainbow background using a bunch of colorful card stock stripes. I glued them horizontally behind the “BIG” word and vertically behind the other words of the sentiment. Here I used Razzle Berry card stock, Poppy Prestige card stock, Orange Zest Prestige card stock, Lemon Drop card stock, Limelight Prestige card stock, Summer Splash Prestige card stock and Wild Wisteria Prestige Card Stock.
Finally, I the rainbow background behind the die cut panel, using foam tape for dimension and adding a vellum layer in between to mute the colors a bit. I also added a bunch of stars as embellishment.

When I first looked at this card, I thought the background was ink blended somehow! Beautiful how the vellum over the cardstock strips kind of “blends” them together. Another idea for me to try!

Not only does the vellum subdue those colors but it hides the seams of the card stock! I thought you’d used one sheet of rainbow paper or had ink-blended it! Wow! It must be even more spectacular IRL!
