Today I’m back with another Christmas project for the MFT September Release Countdown Day 2. Don’t forget that all the new products will be available for purchase on Tuesday, September 7 at 10:00 am EDT.
For today’s card I used the lovely Special Delivery stamp set and the gorgeous Cute Caravan Die-namics.
To begin, I created the car using the dies from the Cute Caravan Die-namics set.
Here I used Wild Cherry card stock for the card body, Cement Gray Prestige card stock for the hubcaps and Black Licorice Prestige card stock for the tyres, door handle and the steering wheel.
Next, I ink blended some white pigment ink over the Snowfall Stencil to add some texture to the card body and used a white gel pen to add a bunch of dots, too, for added interest. Finally, I carefully assembled all the pieces adhering all of them on the car body.
I stamped all the fun characters and the pile of presents from the Special Delivery stamp set and colored them with Copic Markers before die-cutting them using the matching Die-namics. Then, I added them to my die-cut car and added a Heavyweight Translucent Vellum behind them to simulate a car window.
Next, I created the perfect winter scene for my card. I used one of the beautiful patterned paper sheets from the Keep Me in Stitches Patterned Paper Pad to create the sky and die-cut a couple of snowy hills out of white card stock, using the Stitched Slimline Snow Drifts Die-namics.
I stamped one of the sentiments from the Special Delivery stamp set directly on the front snow drift and mounted all the elements on a card base, popping some of them up using foam tape for dimension.
Finally, I added a bunch of sparkling clear and white sequins on my card front to provide the perfect pop of interest and finish the look of this card off to perfection!
