My card today features the adorable Housecats stamp set and the amazing Houseplants Die-namics.
To begin, I die-cut a bunch of plants using the Houseplants Die-namics. I use Sour Apple and Jalapeño Popper for the stem layers and Smooth White, Moroccan Spice, Candied Yam and Butterscotch for the coordinating containers. These multi-piece designs are super easy to assemble: the stem layers have a substantial base to facilitate the adhering to the coordinating container.
Next, I stamped the cute kittens from the Housecats stamp set, using Milk Chocolate Hybrid Ink, and die-cut them using the coordinating Die-namics before coloring them with Copic Markers.
Then, I cut a piece of patterned paper – from the gorgeous Wallpaper Patterns Paper Pad – and adhered it on a card front, creating the ground layer.
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a strip of Butterscotch Prestige Card Stock and foam mounted it on my card, along with the cats and all the plants to complete the look.
