I have a floral card to share with you today, featuring the amazing Magnolia Blossoms stamp set and coordinating Die-namics.
To begin, I stamped the graceful magnolia stem with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink on a Watercolor Paper sheet and used the matching Die-namics to cut it out. Next, I used the Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors to color the beautiful blooms and, since I wanted to create a monochromatic card, I only used the 091 Bluish Gold color, which is really beautiful and shimmery.
Next, I used the same color to splatter some gold ink on a square card base to add interest and the appearance of texture to the background.
I adhered a Heavyweight Translucent Vellum panel on my card base, to soften the gold splatters behind the main image, and heat embossed the sentiment in white on a strip of Sour Apple Card Stock.
Finally, I foam mounted the sentiment on my card along with the magnolia stem, adding a bunch of sparkling clear and gold sequins to complete the look.
