Hello and welcome to the MFT January Card Kit Countdown.
The Friendship Card Kit will be available on Tuesday, January 26 at 10:00 am EST! Set your alarm now and don’t miss the opportunity to make it yours!

My project today highlights the What Friendship Means stamp set and the Boxed-in Banners Die-namics.

To begin, I heat embossed the first and last line of the sentiment in white on a Butterscotch Prestige card stock panel and stamped the middle part on a white card stock panel using Pineapple Premium Dye ink.
Since I wanted to put the accent on the uppercase part of the sentiment, I die-cut the outline banner from the Boxed-in Banners Die-namics out of Eiffel Tower Prestige card stock and used it to frame the main sentiment. I also added a piece of white card stock behind the fishtail outline elements to increase the contrast with the background.
For the background, I stamped the word “friend” several times on a card front, with Grout Gray Dye ink, creating a text-based pattern.
Finally, I adhered the banner in the middle of the heat embossed lines and mounted the main panel on my card front, using foam tape for dimension and added interest.

Head over to the MFT Blog for the next two days to learn more about the Friendship Card Kit and for more inspiration from the DT.
See you again tomorrow for my Countdown Day 1 project.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Happy crafting!
