Today I’m back with a fun rocker card for the MFT August Release Countdown Day 2. Don’t forget that all the new products will be available for purchase on Tuesday, August 10 at 10:00 am EDT.
For today’s card I used the Outdoor Adventures stamp set and matching Die-namics. Such fun!
I started to work on this project by creating the base. I die-cut a circle shape out of Kraft card stock using the 4 ½” die from the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and folded it in half.
Then, I die-cut two stitched circle shapes out of Sour Apple card stock and Heavyweight Translucent Vellum – using the 4” die. I used the vellum circle for the background and die-cut the green one in half, using the Slimline Grassy Hills Die-namics, to create the ground layer. I also splattered the Sour Apple card stock panel with white and green ink to add interest and the appearance of texture.
Next, I stamped the adorable characters from the Outdoor Adventure stamp set and colored them with Copic Markers before die-cutting them using the coordinating Die-namics.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment on a white card stock panel, using Butterscotch Premium Dye Ink, and mounted it on my rocker card along with all the stamped images, creating a cute outdoor scene.
