I have a cute shadow box card to share with you today featuring the adorable Odd Couple stamp set and Die-namics, combined with the awesome Shadow Box Die-namics set.
I started to work on this project by creating the shadow box structure.
So I die-cut the box structure out of Chantilly Cream card stock and die-cut a window from both the base parts, in order to add extra interest on my shadow box card.
Then, I die-cut the grassy shelves out of Limelight and Sour Apple card stock using the dies from the Outside the Box Grass Die-namics and the Outside the Box Grassy Hills Die-namics and splattered them with some white ink.
Next, I mounted the shelves inside my shadow box, equally spaced, and used a Heavyweight Translucent Vellum panel to cover the background window.
This amazing shadow box folds flat to a perfect A2 size in order to fit an envelope, but pops up immediately when it comes out of it, revealing all its layers and dimensions. Love it!
After assembling the box, I stamped some of the cute images from the Odd Couple stamp set and colored them with Copic Markers before using the matching dies to cut them out.
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a strip of Butterscotch Prestige card stock and adhered it in front of my shadow box card.
Lastly, I added all the stamped images on the shelves, adhering some of them behind the vellum layer in order to increase the scene depth and provide the perfect pop of interest.
