Purple Onion Designs | One layer country scene

Hi there! Today I’m back with a spring relaxing scene featuring two adorable furry friends from Purple Onion Designs.

I did a lot of masking for creating this scene. I started stamping the two critters: Mia, the little mouse, and Zoey, the cute reading bunny. I masked them with masking paper and I stamped all the other images in the foreground (all the Picnic accessories). Once I masked them, I finally stamped the background (The Perfect Spot).

I stamped all the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the scene with Copic markers.

To create a background for my panel, I ink blended Wild Honew Distress Ink over the Altenew Tiny Bubbles Stencil directly on my card base. Then I die cut the main panel using a scalloped edge from My Favorite Things – Die-namics Stitched Scallop Basic Edges, trimmed it down just slightly smaller than regular card size and foam mounted it on my card base.

I embossed the sentiment on a strip of black cardstock and added it onto my scene.

Thanks for stopping by!
