Hello and welcome back for another post featuring some of the cutest critters from the awesome “Happy Trails” collection by Purple Onion Designs.
For this card I created a window effect hiding the main scene behind two curtains.
I stamped the all images with Tuxedo Black ink and I had to mask them twice. First, I stamped and masked all the items in the foreground (Free Spirits and Finch), then I stamped the second layer (Ruby and the Bunting Flags). Finally, I masked the remaining images and stamped the background (Country Road Background).
I did a bit of work but I really love how it turned out!
Once the stamping was over, I colored the whole scene with Copic markers.
I die cut two window panels off an A6 cardstock panel to make my card interactive. Here I used Mama Elephant Creative Cuts Peek a Frame die set. I added two pieces of vellum behind the windows to hide the background scene when they’re closed.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment on the left side of my card with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and added two sequins, before and after it, as embellishment.
