Today I’m sharing a new project for the MFT Color Challenge 135!
This challenge features Razzle Berry, Coral Crush, Lemon Chiffon, and Limelight.
My card, inspired by this week’s color combination, features the amazing Pumped-Up Alphabet Die-namics and the Birthdays Take the Cake stamp set.
To begin, I created the main greeting and die-cut each letter out of colored card stock using the Pumped-Up Alphabet Die-namics. I used Razzle Berry, Coral Crush and Lemon Chiffon card stock, according to the color scheme.
For the background, I repeatedly stamped some of the images from the Birthdays Take the Cake stamp set on a white card stock panel using Grout Gray dye ink, creating a custom patterned paper.
Finally, I heat embossed the second part of the sentiment in white on a strip of Limelight card stock and mounted all the elements on my card, using foam tape to pop my die cuts up, adding some fun dimension to my card!
