MFT Birthday Project Challenge | Feeling Sentimental

Hello friends! Today I’m back to share a card I made for the new MFT Birthday Project Challenge!
This time we’re challenging you to think outside the box by using only sentiments in your designs:
Grab your favorite birthday sentiment stamps and dies, text-based backgrounds, and alphabets and craft a birthday card that wows without using any images.”.

My project features the Bitty Birthday Wishes stamp set and the gorgeous Celebrate Die-namics. I really enjoyed making this card! Such fun!! :D

To begin, I die-cut the main sentiment out of white card stock using the amazing Celebrate Die-namics hand-lettered script. Then, I stamped some splatters on it using the Distressed Patterns stamp set and die-cut another layer out of Summer Splash card stock to create a drop shadow.

I die-cut a white card stock panel using the Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics and stamped a word pattern on it, repeatedly stamping some of the sentiments from the Bitty Birthday Wishes using Grout Gray dye ink.

Finally, I heat embossed the second part of the sentiment on a strip of Pineapple card stock and mounted all the elements on my card base, using foam tape for dimension. I also added a bunch of sparkling clear sequins as embellishment.
