Hello! Today I’d love to share with you a project featuring a grumpy little friend from My Favorite Things lying among succulents pots.
For this card, I stamped the cat and the foreground succulents on Copic friendly paper, masking them to create a single image (cat + pots). Once the stamping was done, I colored the resulting image with Copics.
I wanted to create a cool scene for my grumpy furry friend so I sketched a wooden trellis on my card base and stamped some other succulents on it, like they were climbing plants.
To enrich the backgound, I also stamped a couple of succulents flowers here and there and sketched some bushes around them with my Copics.
As final touch, I heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of kraft cardstock and embellished my card wish some sparkling clear sequins.
