Hello! Today’s card features one of my favorite background stamps from My Favorite Things: Bundles of Blossoms.
I stamped the background image on copic friendly paper and colored it with Copic markers, using a couple of shades of the blue green family to achieve a monochromatic look.
I stamped my background again with gray ink on two white panels, cut some triangles off the edges and used them to frame my colored background. This added an eye catching look to the sentiment, since I wanted it to be in the middle of my card.
For the sentiment I stacked several die cuts together and lined them up before adding them to my card. I used Mama Elephant’s Birthday Script – Creative Cuts. To complete the die cut sentiment, I heat embossed the word “Happy” on black cardstock and foam mounted it on my card.
Finally, I added a couple of bronze sequins from Pretty Pink Posh as a final touch.
