Hello friends and welcome to the MFT May Release Countdown!
All of the amazing new products will be available for purchase on Tuesday, May 10 at 10:00 am EDT.
I have a fun slimline box card to share with you today, featuring the adorable SY Backyard BBQ stamp set and Die-namics combined with the Mini Slimline Outside the Box Die-namics.
I started to work on this project by creating the box card.
I die-cut the box base out of white card stock, the background mat out of Heavyweight Translucent Vellum using the dies from the Mini Slimline Outside the Box Die-namics and Mini Slimline Outside the Box Level Up Die-namics. Next, I cut the stitched panel mats out of patterned paper, using one of the beautiful patterns from the MSTN Pretty in Plaid Paper Pad.
For the shelves, I die-cut three grassy hills out of Sour Apple card stock, using the Mini Slimline Outside the Box Grassy Hills Die-namics, and splattered them with white ink for added interest.
Finally, I carefully assembled the box and inserted all the shelves into it, perfectly spaced. I layered the stitched panel mats on the box structure and stamped the sentiment on a white card stock strip that I mounted on the front panel.
Then, I stamped the images from the SY Backyard BBQ stamp set and colored them with Copic Markers before using the matching Die-namics to cut them out.
I finished off the project by adding all the cute critters on the shelves, as if they were having the most delicious feast ever! Such fun!
