Hi there! Today I have a cheerful spring project to share with you, featuring the adorable Hippity Hop Stamp Set by Mama Elephant. Last month I had the awesome opportunity to be a guest designer for Mama Elephant and this is the first card I created with their awesome products. I had so much fun playing with these adorable bunnies. They’re just perfect for cute designs and happy scenes, don’t you think? :)
I started to work on this card by ink blending some white cardstock panels with Twisted Citron Distress ink and die-cutting two hills out of them using the hill borders from the Landscape Trio – Creative Cuts. Next, I die-cut some grass using the Fringe – Creative Cuts stand alone die.
Then, I die-cut the cloud border from the Landscape Trio – Creative Cuts out of a scrap of paper and used it to mask a white cardstock panel before ink blending it to create a soft sky background.
I stamped all the cheerful bunnies with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with Copics. Once my coloring was complete, I fussy cut all of them and foam mounted all the elements to create a happy spring scene. Then, I decided to frame it with the scalloped die-cut frame from the Framed Tags – Madison Avenue – Creative Cuts.
I heat embossed the sentiment inside the banner shape (both from the Hippity Hop Stamp Set) and combined it with the Happy Script – Creative Cuts. I also added a bunch of sparkling clear sequins as embellishment.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
