We’ve reached the final day of the countdown, the MFT May Release Countdown wraps up today! Your new favorite products arrive tomorrow, May 10 at 10:00 am EDT.
Today I’m sharing a fun shadow box card featuring the amazing You Make Me Hoppy stamp set combined with the Shadow Box Die-namics.
To begin, I stamped the funny frogs and all the other accent images from the You Make Me Hoppy stamp set and used the matching Die-namics to cut them out, before coloring them with Copic Markers.
After that, I created the shadow box structure.
I die-cut the box structure out of Chantilly Cream card stock and cut a window from both the base layers, in order to add depth and let more light in.
I die-cut a grassy shelf out of Sour Apple card stock using one of the dies from the Outside the Box Grass Die-namics and the water shelves out of Sno Cone Card Stock and Heavyweight Translucent Vellum using the dies from the Outside the Box Snow Drifts Die-namics.
Next, I mounted the structure, using a Heavyweight Translucent Vellum panel to cover the background window, and added all the shelves in my shadow box, equally spaced.
This amazing shadow box folds flat to a perfect A2 size in order to fit an envelope, but pops up immediately when it comes out of it, revealing all its layers and dimensions. Such fun!
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a Butterscotch Prestige card stock strip and decided to add it inside my shadow box card along with all the gorgeous stamped images.
